Home Economics National Award for St. Fergal's

November '06 was a proud month for St. Fergal’s when a past pupil was presented with the best result in Ireland in Leaving Cert Home Economics

Triona Sheridan was presented with the Mary O’Corry Crowe for achieving the highest mark in the Leaving Certificate Home Economics exam in Ireland.
Paula Bergin,her teacher and herself a past pupil of St. Fergal’s, attended the ceremony along with Triona’s parents Liam and Dolores. It was sponsored by Failte Ireland and among the attendance was Mairead Mc Guinness, M.E.P.
