Charity Fundraising

One of the key aims of education is Active Citizenship. We encourage our students to not only engage with this ideal but to live it. Recognising that there are others worse off than us is an integral part of the value system in St. Fergal’s. To that end, we support our students both as individuals and class groups in their attempts to raise both awareness and often badly- needed funds in these challenging new times.

Our Amber Flag committee annually engage in fundraising for Pieta House and to raise awareness around Mental Health. Never has that been more pertinent than now.

The Green Schools Committee are active on Environmental Issues. In the area of Health our students have been active and hugely successful in raising money for the Irish Cancer Society, Trocaire, Vincent de Paul among many others and we will continue to play our part in helping those in our community who need it most.
