TY Glenbarrow Hillwalking

Battling the elements the newly formed Transition Year group headed off on their first of many adventures. Students enthusiastically headed for the hills of Glenbarrow. One of the most scenic parts of the Slieve Bloom area with its waterfalls and steep valley, Glenbarrow is the source of the River Barrow, the second longest river in Ireland. The Team building day was well worth it when they arrived at their destination. Accompanied by Mr Alan Fogarty and Mr Pat Roe Students returned exhausted but elated with their achievement. Well done to all.
